We’re Rick and Sue Manzi — the husband-and-wife duo behind AnonymousQ and the creators of Award-Winning Disruption Rubs.

 

Based in Bethany Beach, Delaware, we launched our competition cooking journey in 2020. What started as a hobby to create better work–life balance quickly turned into a competitive passion to cook… and win. From KCBS BBQ battles to SCA Steak competitions, we’ve built a reputation for bringing bold flavor, precise execution, and a whole lot of fun to every event.

 

Our teamwork goes beyond the competition stage. We pride ourselves on working seamlessly together — in the heat of competition and in everyday life. Along the way, we’ve met incredible people, shared unforgettable meals, and pushed ourselves to keep getting better.

 

Disruption Rubs were born out of that same drive for excellence. We wanted flavors that stood out, performed under pressure, and delivered results time after time. Before they ever hit a shelf, our small-batch seasonings had already been tested — and proven — on the competition circuit, racking up wins and earning respect from judges and cooks alike.
